Beetles and Bombers is primarily an investigation of artifacts, contemporary design, and propaganda in the WW2 period. Alt-history is a starting point, adding in this case two additional fictional circumstances to already ongoing global conflict, one ecological, the other social. Then primary and secondary sources from the time are referenced to determine how propaganda, design, fashion, etc, would then encompass these additional circumstances.
